Wow, I haven't posted in 4 months!?

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in what seems like nearly forever. Many things have happened since my last post. First thing first, August 27, at 2am, our house caught fire. The damage was pretty bad, therefore we couldn't stay there any longer.
We were homeless for 2 weeks, living with other people, at a hotel, etc. until we found a nice big house just 5 minutes from where we used to live.
I finally got a job, (yay me!) working at a consignment store in town. I like it. It's pretty fun.
I got an iPhone 5! My first phone. Which I love it!! I didn't like the case it came with so the creative side took over and I covered the case I duct tape to make it more appealing. ^^
Anyways, I'm gonna try to post more, now that our life is back in track. :)

Officially a new Preschooler!!

My little brother, Salem (4), started preschool!! Yay, him! In honor of that, and his cuteness, I took the opportunity to take him out back and get some pics.
With some natural lighting (thanks to the cloudiness), a decent camera (a Nikon L22), and Picasa, they actually turned out pretty well. :)

My 18th Birthday with Worlds of Fun and Skillet!!!

Last week, I turned 18. My sister and 2 of our friends all went to Worlds of Fun and saw 2 of my favorite bands: Skillet and Red! We had such a great time.

Bottlecap necklace

So the other day, we watched a movie called "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" with Lindsay Lohan. In this movie, she had a beautiful necklace made out of 3 bottle caps and ball-chain.
I was determined! I had to make this necklace!! I went online in hopes to find a tutorial, but was unsuccessful.
Of course, me being as crafty as I am, and bound and determined as I was, just decided to make it! Be creative! Take changes! And that's just what I did. Here's the result. :)
